Divine Mercy Sunday

The Marians of the Immaculate Conception, who promote the message of Divine Mercy, recommend that we celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy in three steps: 1) Ask the Lord for forgiveness of all of your sins and resolve to make a good confession as soon as possible; 2) Make a spiritual Communion by telling the Lord you desire to receive Him in Holy Communion and you cannot wait to do so soon; 3) Tell the Lord that you desire the graces of this amazing Feast. by saying a prayer like this one:

Lord Jesus Christ, you promised St. Faustina that the soul that has been to confession — I’m unable but I made an Act of Contrition — and the soul that receives Holy Communion — I’m unable but I made a Spiritual Communion — will receive the complete forgiveness of all sins and punishment and please, Lord Jesus Christ, give me this grace.

Fr. Chris Alar shows what to do differently this year to make Divine Mercy Sunday the most important day of your life.
